Lidstone's Rowley MildHand crafted by our award winning brewer in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales, Lidstone's Rowley Mild (GBBF Champion Mild of Great Britain 2003) is a truly distinctive beer with chocolate and toffee aromas leading into what, for its strength, is an impressively rich and flavoursome taste; the finish is pleasantly bitter-sweet. Brewed with the finest floor malted Maris Otter Barley, Malted Oats and Roast Barley, Munich, Chocolate, Crystal and Carapils Malts with leaf hops and Wensleydale Brewery's own yeast strain. Semer WaterOur summer ale is a refreshing, light, straw coloured beer with hints of caramel and citrus combined with a perfect balance of malt and hops. The lake conceals a legendry sunken village - a hungry beggar was refused alms in all but one cottage and damned the village thus: "Semer Water rise, Semer Water sink, and cover all save this lile house, that gave me meat and drink." Coverdale Gamekeeper Dales keepers are hardy, hard working folk and this light copper, highly drinkable and very moreish best bitter with a lingering aftertaste, was conceived to sate their thirst. Black Dub Stout There is a dark deep pool (or dub) in the river Cover to the rear of Middleham Castle, after which our stout is named. It is a black beer - smooth and well structured, brimming with roasted chocolate taste and aroma. Black Dub is hand crafted by our award winning brewer in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales with the finest floor malted Maris Otter Barley, Malted Oats and Roast Barley, Munich, Chocolate, Crystal and Carapils Malts, with leaf hops and Wensleydale Brewery's own yeast strain. Aysgarth Falls The river Ure Plunges 200 feet in under a mile over three spectacular waterfalls, creating Aysgarth's famous falls after which our Wheat Beer is named. Hand crafted by our award winning brewer in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales, Aysgarth Falls is brewed with Bavarian Hefe Weisen Yeast, the finest floor malted Wheat Malt, Malted Barley and Carapils Malt. Hardraw Force 2005 Champion Beer of Goliath (GBBF-London) and named after the famous waterfall at Hardraw, near Hawes in upper Wensleydale (about 100 feet in height and an impressive sight!). Hardraw Force is a well balanced premium ale with a fine malty, hoppy character, which we are told. "goes down well". Hand crafted by our award winning brewer in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales with the finest floor malted Munich Malt, Crystal Malt, Molasses, leaf hops and Wensleydale Brewery's own yeast strain.
